Samsung's GDDR5 roadmap

With widespread adoption of GDDR4 on graphics products yet to happen, it's a little surprising to see GDDR5 engineering efforts get press coverage this soon. Qimonda have recently announced they're skipping GDDR4 engineering and production altogether, and now it's Samsung's turn to quietly announce their GDDR5 intentions on new roadmaps.

We've repurposed the roadmap to highlight new goings on, to help us take a quick look at the state of the GDDR union in a new article.
