So extreme utterance. I don't like the song either because it is unpleasant in my ears. But to hate it... come on. It's music after all and it depends on your personal predisposition to synchronise with it.

That's one point of view. Some might argue that it has a lot to do with one's upbringing, particular reasons for latching onto or dismissing certain types of music and musical background or lack thereof. For instance, I personally bypass most metal because to me a lot of it sounds like cacophonous noise, which is not to say it's completely without merit, but I have to say that many, if not most, people I know just listen to certain genres because they consider them "badass" or they happen to be "in" at a given moment. On the other hand, I'm 23 and I listen to a lot of psychedelic rock. Not sure what that says. Still, having said that, I don't stick just to one genre, and I definitely don't like every artist in the genres I do tend to prefer. But now this is getting dull and long-winded, so with you I share a gem from 1968.

Insomnium- The Only One Who Waits

Insomnium came to my city on Saturday, for the first time in I don't even know how long. I've wanted to see them live for years, and to finally be able to was incredible. My girlfriend and I had an amazing time.

The Finnish metal scene is, in my opinion, some of the best in the world. Whenever I'm debating metal with people, I always recommend Insomnium.

The new(ish) Gotye album. Some pretty diverse songs, but with his signature style. Reminds me a lot of Peter Gabriel around his Sledgehammer days.

Can't seem to go too long without listening to Caravan Palace. Their album 'Panic' rarely fails to put me in a good mood.

Still EPIC:

Quote:
My hands are tied
The billions shift from side to side
And the wars go on with brainwashed pride
For the love of God and our human rights
And all these things are swept aside
By bloody hands time can't deny
And are washed away by your genocide
And history hides the lies of our civil wars
Quote:
My hands are tied
For all I've seen has changed my mind
But still the wars go on as the years go by
With no love of God or human rights
'Cause all these dreams are swept aside
By bloody hands of the hypnotized
Who carry the cross of homicide
And history bears the scars of our civil wars

Perhaps one of the most meaningful lyrics and message:

Quote:
Maybe one day we'll be united
And our love won't be divided (ooh-ooh-ooh ooh ooh-ooh ooh-ooh ooh)
Maybe one day we'll be united (ooh ooh)
And our love won't be divided (woh-oh-oh oh oh oh oh-oh)

Maybe one day we'll be united (oh oh yeah)
And our love won't be divided
Maybe one day we'll be united (ooh-ooh ooh ooh-ooh)
And our love won't be divided (woh-oh-oh oh oh oh oh-oh)

If love a-was a thing a me say money could a-buy
The rich man would a-live a me say poor man would die
If freedom was a thing they would a-keep upon the earth
Happiness a-would abundant, unity would give birth
In a hungry nation, yes you get a hungry people
That is mentally cripple and a kinda always wrong
Gunshot and fire in a-South Africa
And the youth them a-suffer in a-Dominica

Peace! I gotta plea for call
I see too many kids and they simply falling
In the streets, it's strife, a waste of a life
'Cause he died by the bullet or he's stabbed with a knife
But yo, it ain't no way to go
You can't kill the next man just to get the dough
We gotta fight tonight but we gotta fight right
Can't fight for the dough, we gotta fight to unite

Maybe one day we'll be united (oh yeah yeah yeah hey)
And our love won't be divided (woo ooh yeah yeah)
Maybe one day we'll be united (united)
And our love won't be divided (woh-oh-oh oh oh oh)

In America the problem take over
Robber shot Peter Tosh in Kingston, Jamaica
Me not joke, me not play, me not just talk
Respect Abu-Baka, respect Mandela
Bob Marley, intelligent Rasta
Singing for world peace is Mr. Stevie Wonder
If you live by the gun a-you will perish by the God
And when Jah-Jah time come in Babylon them have fe run

We need O-N-E L-O-V-E, U-N-I-T-Y, before we all die
But you don't listen, you don't understand
Still kicking the bullshit, tryin' to be the man
Why you wanna go and do your old piece
'Cause we're all rough and we're from the streets
You gotta go against the man with ya corporation
Get an education to rebuild the nation

Maybe one day we'll be united (oh yeah yeah yeah hey)
And our love won't be divided (oh oh yeah yeah)
Maybe one day we'll be united (ooh ooh-ooh ooh ooh ooh-ooh)
And our love won't be divided

Maybe one day we'll be united (united)
And our love won't be divided (woo ooh yeah yeah)
Maybe one day we'll be united (united)
And our love won't be divided (ooh-ooh ooh oh)

Just put the last part in the tags. WQ6oP4vOvI8

So it's ["yt"]WQ6oP4vOvI8["/yt"]

minus the quotes

I swear there are instructions posted somewhere on this site... but what's the use if they're impossible to find.

Ravi Shankar is dead. I can't tell I knew much of his work but I enjoyed the few I listened to.
Certainly he is now one step closer to the Nirvana.

1993 - 1995 produced better music than the whole of 2000 - 2012.
Computers didn't crash at the end of '99, real music spirit did.

Most Eurodance is characterized by synthesizer riffs, female or male vocals with simple chorus, male rap parts, sampling and a strong beat.[1] [5] Sometimes with female or male vocals singing throughout the whole song without rap.

Vocals
Eurodance is often very positive and upbeat; the lyrics often involve issues of love and peace, dancing and partying, or expressing and overcoming difficult emotions. The early-mid 1990s Eurodance vocals were frequently done by a solo vocalist or a mixed rapper-vocalist duet.

Percussion
Almost all Eurodance emphasizes percussion and rhythm. Eurodance percussion is generally a "kick" bassdrum with some variations on a 4/4 time signature. While the percussion is always done by synthesizers, it is a sound more typical of dance music and not the "beat box" sound typical of rap music. The tempo is typically around 140 beats per minute, but may vary from 110 to 150 BPM.

Melody
Most Eurodance is also very melody-driven. Unlike most pop music which is usually written in major keys, most Eurodance songs are in minor keys. This along with positive lyrics helps contribute to the overall powerful and emotional sound of Eurodance.

Just listened to that:

A revival of some old memories

I know it is a friendly jam but man I can't help but think that Paco is explaining him the way it is meant to be played, may be he is looking for a position at nvidia

been listening to this song alot of late, an older song, very controversial album if your a machine head fan, lots of love or lots of hate.

Quote:
I see the sun begin to rise
And I'm blinded too
I've seen the world through jaded eyes
that I'm crying through
I've watched the darkness hypnotize
And confided

Hold on I'm falling
Can't breathe anymore
An ocean has opened
These scars need to heal over

Caress the needle prick in my eye
The tears fell like rain
I've rode the Phoenix as she glides
And I've gone insane
I've seen the light of suicide
And I'm dying

Hold on I'm falling
Can't breathe anymore
An ocean has opened
These scars need to heal over

Hold on I'm falling can't breathe
Breathe

Colder and colder
Just hold onto me
